The 2012 Year of the Dragon gold coin is now in stock. The limited mintage of 30,000 1-ounce gold Australian Gold Dragons for worldwide distribution sold out immediately at Perth Mint. This has led to higher premiums for the ounce size all over the world, and very few coins were allocated to the US markets.

Due to the small allocation that we received of 1-ounce Dragons, at this time we are limiting sales of that size to ten per customer. We do expect that the other sizes will be available in greater quantity.

Our minimum order is ten ounces. Prices are per coin, with quantity discounts shown.
You can mix any type and size of bullion products. We pay the shipping.

The 2012 Year of the Australian Gold Dragon gold coin is the fifth issue in Australia's Lunar bullion gold coin Series Two. 

Each of these pure (99.99%) gold bullion coins is individually packaged at hard plastic capsules at the Perth Mint, and delivered to you in pristine condition.

Mintage of the 1-ounce gold coins in this 12-year series is limited to 30,000 pieces.

Legend has it that thousands of years ago, on a Chinese New Year, Buddha summoned all the animals of his kingdom, but only 12 showed up.

To honor the 12, each animal present was given a year of its own, in the order that they arrived. People subsequently born in those years are said to share the characteristics of that year's animal.

Each Year of the Dragon gold coin is a beautiful example of what can be done in .9999 fine gold bullion, as struck to the precise standards of the Perth Mint.
