One ounce gold bullion coins – Australia Lunar Series I

Australia’s first series of gold Lunar Calendar coins were produced from 1996-2007. Each coin is a portrait in .9999 pure gold of that year’s lunar animal, and comes in its own individual capsule from the Perth Mint. The series was hugely popular, and the 1-ounce coins were limited to a maximum production of 30,000 coins each year. No more will be produced.

Several of the Lunar Series I coins are no longer available.

From our final shipment of Lunar Series I coins from the Perth Mint, we now offer a limited supply of the remaining Lunar Series I coins shown below.
