With the release of the Tiger for 2010, the Perth Mint launches the third animal in this 12-year series of the Asian Lunar Calendar coins.

The one-ounce gold coins are struck in .9999 pure gold, and each is limited to a mintage of 30,000. Each coin comes encapsulated in its own package as issued by the Perth Mint.

Collector response to the Mouse and Ox issues have been phenomenal, with only a few hundred coins of each still available. This series will be complete in the year 2019, and it would probably be a good idea to start now if you haven’t bought any. Take advantage while they are still available at a nominal premium over their bullion value.
