The silver Eagle is the U.S. Mint's bullion issue $1 face value coin, and has been made continuously since 1986. These .999 fine silver coins are issued in Treasury tubes of 20 coins each. They come from the Mint at West Point NY packed 25 tubes in a green plastic Treasury box measuring 14 ¾” by 8 ½ “ by 4 ½.”
